Kassandra told the council that their path would lead to their ruin. She warned them. They should have listened. The vampire Kassandra and her companions set out to bring the vampire world to it's knees, but her sire, Vickar, tries to stand in her way.
This story of a vampire revolution was inspired by the song "Play With Fire" by The Birthday Massacre.

"Fresh, warm blood dripped from the fire ax dangling from her gnarled right hand. Before her stood the mansion, a Gothic three story house with bricked up windows so the elder vampires living within, or in this case meeting within, could live without fear of the sun. Her gaze was pointed at the third story, wherein the noble Scion was no doubt giving the council his misguided “Now is our time!” speech, his burning passion had already pushed them toward his foolish idea of domination."

I loved this! The way you built the scene, with the action in the background and up front, and the dialogue was so fun to read. Vampire characters are cool as hell in the first place but it's nice to see one using her immortality to bring change as opposed to just hanging around in the dark for thousands of years.

I always love a good vampire story and this is a really interesting concept. Your characters show so much personality in such a small space of time, Kassandra in particular is badass, and the whole scene is very intense. Another amazing story!
