Scary Shorts

Horror is a genre that I deeply love! Be it book, movie, or game, a well told Horror story can shake you to your core and make you think about your life and/or the people you love. They can also just give you a nice scare, if that’s what you’re up for, because Horror is a spectrum.

As much as I love the genre, I haven’t written a lot of it. I have one piece that I’ve been poking and prodding at for years, and another that I dropped when I realized that it didn’t work. As for stories I’ve released, I’ve only dabbled. This collection is those dabblings. Many of them appeared in the charity flash fiction zine, Worth Writing About, and the rest are small pieces I’ve written and never shared until now.

Writing Horror is something I’d like to do more of, and I suppose my dabblings are a means to build up my confidence or exercise that particular muscle. Either way, I hope you enjoy these stories.
